Immune Boost

In the midst of all the health crisis in the world what are some things you and I can do to boost our immune system? One way to help fight viruses and infections is boosting our immune system! Here are some tips for you to help prep your body!


1. Keep on exercising! Physical activity has been proven to get rid of bacteria from lungs and airway!


2. Check your vitamin D levels! Chances are they are low especially if you live in areas that have more cloudy days then sunny ones. Take a vitamin D supplement a day. Research has proven that vitamin D is one big factor in fighting respiratory infections.


3. Wash your hands!! Wash them, soap them, keep them clean! You should know this by now.


4. Keep your liver healthy! Eat foods for the liver. The liver is one organ that helps detox the body. Some good vegetables to help would be broccoli, kale and cabbage.


5. Eat citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, and grapefruit. They are very high in vitamin C and can help boost the immune system!


6. Drink tea! Although I’m a big fan of black tea, green tea has happen to be more effective in boosting the immune system. It is a great source of antioxidant!


7. And last but not least drink your water! Water helps the body by removing toxins. This can help prevent toxins building up in the body and causing sickness. Let’s not forget that it keeps us hydrated as well!
